About Dr Judy Haines.
What do you do at BSFP?
I am a general practitioner, and have been at this practice since 1986
What led you to this career?
After over 3 years in the hospital system, I moved into Victoria’s Family Medicine Program, then when given the opportunity, I began general practice in Woolgoolga, my new home town.
What (or who) energises you at work?
The variety of medical problems, the colleagues who are there to support me, and the wonderfully compassionate team members who make it all happen.
What’s one thing that surprised you about working at BSFP?
The ongoing support that is available, we all have our strengths of knowledge to offer to each other.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
On weekends, I am doing my catch-up jobs in the home, garden, and often have dinner with friends or neighbours.
What do you love most about living on the coast?
I love walking on Woolgoolga main beach, watching the bird life that we have in the coastal bush and dunes, chatting with the locals on the beach, and watching the ever changing ocean as it comes into our beautiful bay.
