About Dr Helen Nevell.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine with Distinction from the University of Newcastle, Helen returned to her hometown of Coffs Harbour to pursue her medical career. She completed her Internship and Residency at Coffs Harbour Hospital, then stayed on to undertake further training in Emergency and Internal Medicine before transitioning to General Practice. She holds the Emergency Medicine Certificate through the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine and is an Associate Conjoint Lecturer for the UNSW Rural Clinical School. Outside of work, Helen is an avid classical pianist, holding her AMusA and ATCL performance diplomas. She is a regular gym-goer and enjoys spending time with her naughty pooch Olive.
